Report Warns Votes Will Be Supressed in Key Swing States »
Posted By TimALoftis 1 month, 1 week ago in PoliticsA study just released by a reputable voting rights group called the Advancement Project, reveals that in swing states like Virginia, Ohio and Missouri some predominantly African American precincts have far fewer machines per voter than do nearby white precincts. It's a situation that threatens to drive down the minority vote and skew the election's outcome during a year when unprecedented numbers of blacks have a powerful incentive to flock to the polls. The report also criticizes many counties and cities in those states for lacking enough voting machines, privacy booths and poll workers generally to handle all the voters expected on Election Day.

I hope we will not see a repeat of 2004 in Ohio where in some African American communities people had to wait 4 to 6 hours to vote while across town in white communities the lines were less than a hour long...all due to allocation of machines.

Hopefully with more people taking advantage of early voting...this will not be a issue this year. -

What's new with that bunch of crooks?
Tim, if they try this again, they will have a mass revolt on their hands. People are tired of having their votes not count, or being turned away from the polls. ENOUGH!
Then cons have the nerve to harp on ACORN like it's really something they have to be concerned about. Democrats dont operate by their standards, they know it, and they take every advantage of it.
