In all due respect, this does not appear to be a logical reaction...
Actually this may be a major Red Flag...
It is not normal for this reaction, It may be time to look for another man or woman.. This may seem harsh, but, women are very special, and, when a normal man rejects them, usually there is a more compelling reason...
Hopefully it is Not another woman, if this is true, Consulaning would be the obvious solution...

Gee; it's o k for women to lose all sense of wanting/desiring intimacy... but, when us guys feel that, OUCH. There must be something really wrong with us guys. Ah, come on... double standard; here.

I am curious as to why the husband is not interested in speaking with his doctor about this. I would think that if a man has lost interest in sex, he'd be beating down his doctor's door to find out why. Has he lost interest in non-sexual intimacy as well?
