    I find if I don't use a brush to apply the shave cream I get ingrown hairs.

  I've found a nearly effortless way to avoid all the hazards of shaving mentioned in the article. Don't shave. The lower part of my real face is as grey haired as my avatar's

  Came to this site because after most shavings I almost always end up with an itchy face. And I do moisten my hair and put moisturizer on afterwards. Maybe if I shaved more often? I shave only when the wife complains about how scruffy I look.

  Well , I gotta say the best thing for me is to wipe my face down with rubbing alcohol , dry my face , get it tawt and dry shave . I use a Bic disposable razor that comes 12 to a pack . I've been doing it for years . Occasionally I get a small cut , but who doesn't . If I feel like it , sometimes I'll run an electric razor just to keep up appearences .
